Riverside Park in Salida, Colorado (Pictures

*Riverside Park In Downtown Salida* - March 2005
	Riverside Park is located on the western end of downtown Salida in Chaffee County. At the main traffic light in downtown Salida, go towards Tenderfoot Mountain (sometimes known as "S" Mountain).
	There is a very popular "play area" for kayakers at this spot in the Arkansas River. Many summer time bystanders have been known to sit, relax and watch the kayakers do their "tricks" in the rapids.
	Looking upstream on the bridge, a view of the Arkansas River and Mt. Princeton far in the distance.
	There are definitely some interesting downtown art pieces, which give the area some character and charm.
	On the edge of the park, a picture of the Collegiate Peaks in the background from downtown Salida.
