Picture Of Mt. Princeton From Mushroom Gulch - 2005

Mt. Princeton

I took this picture while wandering by car up Mushroom Gulch, which is located between the Trout Creek Pass summit and Johnson Village off of Highway 24.

There is something I especially like about this photo of Mt. Princeton. The details and lines of the peak look "sharp" as it contrasts with the snow.

I drove as far up Mushroom Gulch as I could, which is a modest gulch that heads north towards the divide that seperates the Platte River watershead and the Arkansas River watershed. The scenery was not the greatest, although I'll admit that the time of the year was November, which definitely is not the best month for viewing summer foliage and such.

Anyway, here is one other page with photographs of Mt. Princeton: Mt. Princeton Pictures
