Mt. Antero is another of Chaffee County's 14er mountains. It is located south of Mt. Princeton and west of the town of Nathrop. The pointed northeastern face of Mt. Antero's summit can be seen from Buena Vista. (Adjacent photo was taken at the Collegiate Peaks Overlook, which is located west of Johnson Village off of Highway 24.) |
